1) Ability To Plan Effectively: You should be able to be an effective planner and for which you need to have clear objectives as well as defined tasks and resources. This will not only enable you to have a clear plan but will also lead you to your set goals.
2) Ability To Avoid Distractions: Learning to avoid distractions specially in today’s world in which you are surrounded by all sorts of distractions like your phone, social media, pornography, etc. is of utmost importance as distractions steels away from the time you should be working (or even relaxing).
3) Ability To Set Goals: You may sure be aware of how to set goals and may already be setting goals for yourself and working towards them, however, always ensure that when you set your goals they pass the SMART test. That is, they are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time bound.
4) Ability To Avoid Multitasking: You may have heard some productivity guru’s encouraging to multi task in order to achieve more. Well the fact is that every time you try to juggle more than one task at a time you end up wasting more time switching between the task and trying to get your focus back on the switch task. However, if you try to focus on one task at a time, it would help you to deliver quality end results and in a short amount of time.

6) Art Of Delegation: You may be tempted to work on and complete all your task by yourself and you sure can do, not questioning your ability here. However, it would be wise to learn the art of delegation so that you know what to and when to delegate. Delegating tasks helps you ease the workload and share it with competent colleagues or an employee.
7) Beating Procrastination: You cannot always feel motivated to work and may end up becoming a victim of procrastination. 8) Ability To Say NO: If you learn the skill to say NO to things that are not on your priority list, believe me, this two letter word will help you save more time than you can think of. That saved time could than be effectively utilized to work on your actual priorities.
9) Setting Priorities: I cannot stress enough on how important it is to invest your time into the right tasks, as it will not only demand less effort, but also bring better results. Hence, ensure to learn how to prioritize your work and than target to invest your time on the top most priority work on your list.
